This event is played in teams of 4. This is a single elimination tournament.
This game is played just like Beer Pong but with trash cans and a volleyball. 6 Trash cans are placed in a 3-2-1 pyramid. The back row of cans will be 25’ apart, which will be marked with a foul line. Player must remain behind the foul line at all times and must shoot from within the width of the original 3 cans

- Two balls will be active for each contest.
- A coin toss determines which team goes first.
- Teams will have a 4 player rotation and stay in order the entire game.
- Throws will alternate by team. 2 players from one team throw, then the next team.
- Team A – Player 1 throws, then player 2 throws – Team B will then throw, Player 1 then player 2
- Team A Player 3 throws, then player 4 – Team B throws, Player 3, then Player 4 and so on.
- If a can is hit, the can is removed before the next throw - Hitting a can that has already been hit will result in a miss
- If both players from the same team hit a can, the balls are returned and that team will throw again, and continue their rotation order
- Player 1 makes, Player 2 makes = balls returned then Player 3 throws, then player 4
- Bouncing NOT permitted if a ball hits the ground and bounces into a can, it does not count.
- No defense, the ball cannot be touched until it touches the ground - this means that if the ball hits a can and bounces into the air, it cannot be deflected or caught, it must be permitted to fall back into a can. Touching the ball prior to it hitting the ground will result in a can being “hit”
- If a can is knocked over, it counts as a hit.
- No re-racks will occur.
- A team wins by sinking all of the opponent’s cans
- The other team does get a chance to answer with 2 throws at the conclusion of the game, unless the winning team hits successive shots in the same turn or the last can twice.
- During redemption, each ball is shot until missed. On a made shot, the ball is returned, and the rotation order continues.
- If the team seeking redemption manages to sink all of the other team’s cans, then overtime shall be entered.
- Overtime will consist of a 3 can, 2-1 pyramid set up along the foul line. All of the same rules will apply, except redemption. Overtime is SUDDEN DEATH, first team to make all 3 cans wins.
