Our Story
In 2016 I discovered The Leisure Sports Festival, an all day event that has taken place for the past 21 years. LSF organizes 15 different leisure sport events into one day. I quickly got my friends and family on the phone and we formed the Venom Nation and have participated every year since. When April hits, we start to act like kids in December, because the best day of the year happens at the end of the month!
I had hosted annual beer pong tournaments, put on days of games for bachelor parties, organized a charity wiffle ball tournament called the Wiffle Fall Classic for 6 years and even hold our own "Practice" day to get ready for LSF. Every time our group got together, the idea had come up to start something similar to LSF on our own. It's a day that is so much fun, we wanted it to happen more that once a year. But the timing never seemed right.
I am very close to Blaise's family, and when the Infinity and Beyond Foundation was founded, the conversations quickly began. As soon as I reached out to this group of friends and family with the idea of the Blaise Games, everyone was immediately "all in".
Our first year took place during the pandemic, but we got the clearance to move forward with the outdoor event. Even Covid couldn't stop The Blaise Games from taking off and we raised over $12,000 for the For Infinity and Beyond Foundation. While it was a fun filled day, my vision of The Blaise Games has yet to come to fruition. We are looking to make every year better and look forward to having a great day together in honor of Blaise Davis
While we are still improving The Blaise Games, Leisure Sports Festival will be doing their 23rd event in 2023. If it wasn't for LSF, The Blaise Games would not have been imaginable. Make sure to check them out at by clicking their logo below.
